4/27/24 - Who Is the Servant? - 4th Servant Song - Isaiah 52:13-15

The 4th Servant Song which includes Isaiah 53 is directly quoted 7 times in the New Testament. Much controversy exists over the identity of the Servant in Isaiah 53. To get a better idea, you've got to start in 52:13 and take a closer look at what Isaiah has been saying all along.

Throughout the Servant Songs, starting in Isaiah 42, sometimes the Servant is Israel, sometimes the Servant is unnamed. Jewish thought from Yeshua's day translate many of these passages and identify the Servant as Messiah, the Faithful Servant--who is High and Exalted.
