CBR Pro-Cart Championship Round 1

This is round one of my nephew Colton Berns CBR Pro-Cart Championship. The track we run on today is only one of several configurations Colton and his father Keven have created. This race was held on 4/26/24 the weather conditions were perfect with cloud cover so Colton was able to keep water in the track, and the dust down. The race was 20 laps with a competition caution lap at 10 laps, hitting/bumping is allowed, but retaliation is also allowed. All of these carts a clocked at 18 mph maximum speed and single left wheel drive to keep it fair for all participants. There will be six races this season with points awarded each race depending on laps led, fastest lap, lap led before competition caution, and place of finish. A draw of the hat for starting position each race is done allowing everyone a chance to start in the pole position, or front row. In this race I got lucky and pulled the outside pole position.
