Jesus is our Shepherd.
and His sheep know His voice.
He is also the Prince of Peace.
His Kingdom is the Kingdom of God.

The Pharisees held a different version of the Messiah, as both a King and a warrior. A military Messiah who would redeem a physical Kingdom.
