God promised the nation of Israel that he would forsake her and scatter her among the nations if she departed from him. BUT, he also promised that she would be preserved through the ages and restored in the last days. This is a recounting of the many preservations of Israel in the past and a few in the future. Israel is only temporarily set aside. She will be restored in the last days.
