Infant found dead in tote of Uhaul rental van on Indy's south side

The body of an infant was found Wednesday afternoon inside a U-Haul van on Indianapolis' south side. The infant was found in the 4000 block of S. East Street at 1:30 p.m. A spokesperson with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said the infant was found in a tote bag in the back of the van. Police have not released any other information about the incident.
