Action Radio 4/30/24, Yes We Really Did Land on the Moon! Geez...

I can't believe I have to do a show on this, but I've got two reporters out today so it seemed appropriate. I first heard about people who don't believe we landed on the Moon about 15 years ago maybe. They were small in number and easily dismissed. Now I find it's a preponderance of people under 40 who seriously believe it was all a Hollywood stunt. However they can't explain why such a monumental hoax, involving hundreds of thousands of people, on an event watched by almost a billion people, would all be made up.

I think a lot of this has to do with the fact that those of us who were alive in the 60's, although I was a bit young for the good stuff, anyway, we remember a time when life was pretty good, we had optimism and a vision of the future, Star Trek was on TV for the first time, and the gov't could actually accomplish things.

Those under 40 have seen only a decline of America starting with Bill Clinton, except for a brief shining two years of Trump, 2017-2019, before Covid was given us by Dr. Fascist and the other Health Nazis, Big Pharma, Big Tech and Big Media. So they don't have any reference to extended good times, possibilities and accomplishments.
