How to Draw a Daffodil STEP BY STEP

Here's a quick tutorial on how to draw daffodils. I got some daffodils earlier in the spring and decided to draw them, since I rarely get to draw flowers from life. I hope this gives you some tips on making a black and white, realistic, botanical style drawing of daffodils in pencil.

I'll take you through the drawing step by step from sketching with a mechanical pencil to refining with a regular graphite pencil, shading with a light pencil, darkening some of the shading with a soft pencil and fixing up and highlighting.
