Using Unix as your IDE, Build Tools are a Makefile script away

In my many years on Linux, one of the coolest things to work with sometimes is
compling the programs I use. Makefiles make it really nice, because I just have
to make sure I have the right tools and the script does the rest. It also makes
it nice because if I need to tweak something in the Makefile, I can do it
pretty simply.
