Even So

Even so, even if it seems impossible for God to change things up… even so… as “evil” is parading all over our nations with arrogant lawlessness… even so if our culture seems darker than it has ever been… even so… God has not abdicated His authority to evil. God has not left us, God has not forsaken us, God is in play in the unseen, purposefully in play for our good and His glory. Even so… if it seems the enemy of our soul is winning a lot of the battles… even so… we don’t stop praying, we don’t stop believing, we don’t stop trusting in God. We dig our life roots deeply in our God, and depend wholly-holy on Him.

Even so… there has as been so much negative change in our culture. It is hard to imagine that it could get any worse, but it could. We feel like it is very crazy right now and some people say that our culture is really dark. It is a good time to take our eyes off of our culture and get a Kingdom perspective.
Yes, our world is pretty dark right now with, illegitimate authority, deception prevailing, and our morals crashing and burning. Yet even so… the dark does not keep God out. There is no place that God can’t go, He is in the dark, He is in the light. So, we are not without Him.
Even so… the worldly viewpoint of the state of our nation is pretty bleak right now, but when we open our eyes to God, and see with a kingdom perspective, we see God as the Light in our darkness, the strength of our lives. God’s Word is our truth even in this world full of deception, the Word of God still stands faithful and true.
I know it is a hard life season, because of the evil actions of people all around us, and us seeing and experiencing that God’s name is not being lifted up around our nations anymore, and Christianity is not accepted like it used to be. We need to be like Jesus was, and bear with one another, not giving up and continuing to pray for God to bring about unity in our nation and bring us all back to Him.
Praying and interceding for our nation is a good thing, and we need to do that, asking for an awakening of God’s Presence in our nation and a heart to follow after Him, His ways, truth, and life, and letting Him be first in our nation.
Yes, our culture is dark, people are sick and horrendous in their evil deeds… Even so… we need to hope in the dark for our nation and pray for our leaders and our people to wholly-holy give their lives to Jesus and be navigated by His Holy Spirit. Prayer Matters. God hears our prayer, and we can trust Him with the answers, He knows us best and loves us most.
