Enjoying the Sunset (Timelapse Art Video)

This thing. This stupid thing.

This was meant to be a backer reward for a flat color picture...but me being a dumbass decided to go "Ahh, but what if i made it a 3D+2D experiment? I am so smart!". Cue 6:30 hours of work later and this is done. I feel that i'm in the right path to find a good balance of stylization for 3D, but there needs to be more...Honestly my favorite part of this was that I didn't even make an actual city. I just made some shitty boxes, and wrapped and warped a building side view image as the texture. But hey, you do what you gotta.

Honestly my favorite parts of all this has got to be the ocean, the clouds and the grass. That had no right being that fun...

Nothing to say here! Tag and his friend Break are chilling atop the high cliffs of Tempting Myth Forest, eyeing down at the city bellow. So many people going about their lives and works...but for now, all Tag and Break care about is simply enjoying the sunset.

Done entirely in Blender, from start to finish. The 2d drawings, compositting, shading, 3d modelling and rendering...yeah, I'm crazy like that.
