Thrilling ASK Modded Eastern/Payne Traction Elevator - Tom S Gettys Center (Rock Hill, SC)

Here is an old replacement Eastern Elevator put in around the 1960's with Payne Fixtures. Sadly it was given a pretty meh Slap On by ASK Elevators with Adam's Designer in the 1990's. To be fair, this is actually the first I've seen Designer in the field. Minus the Slap On, this is mostly original and offers a very thrilling ride. Through the vents, you can see the windows that brighten up the shaft from time to time. This is a very fun elevator to ride, minus the rough stops. It's an adrenaline rush of an elevator!
