Most believe that Job is the oldest book in the bible. But I believe that God is using it to bring direct relevance today to the situation in our nation. Many in our nation are suffering and being endangered at the hand of corrupt government that we didn’t chose. But could it be that God is using this current situation to make an important point that Job had to experience for a purpose intended by God. Maybe we need to understand that only God himself has the power to save America from the spiritual evil that is beyond our power to overcome. As we see the biblical events unfolding in this season, God is telling us that His intervention is near, even imminent. He has given us ample signs and warnings.
