SP100: Erik Leto's Near-Death Experience

Today's episode is unlike all previous episodes. Army Chaplain Erik Leto joins me in conversation to tell his story of being involved in a hit and run accident. Before sunrise on September 23, 2019 he was driving his motorcycle to work, and somebody in a car smashed into the back of his bike at high speed, sending him flipping with the motorcycle.

His right leg was shredded to pieces and he was bleeding out while his head was trapped under the guard wire. He was alone with nobody to help him. He experienced unexplainable peace as he lay on the side of the highway bleeding out and waiting to die, but God had different plans.

Erik and God were arguing about Erik's survival. Erik wanted to die and God wanted Erik to live. Eventually, God convinced Erik to live. The unfolding of the rest of the story is nothing short of incredible. God will never leave His faithful servants!
