Peacemaking and Tolerance:
"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God." - Matthew 5:9
"Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins." - 1 Peter 4:8
"Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love." - Ephesians 4:2
Defiance against Oppression:
"Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute." - Proverbs 31:8
"Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow." - Isaiah 1:17
"But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!" - Amos 5:24
Jesus' Example of Peace and Tolerance:
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." - Matthew 11:28-29
"For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." - John 3:17
"Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." - Matthew 5:44
Standing Firm in Faith:
"Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand." - Ephesians 6:13
"Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong." - 1 Corinthians 16:13
