Washoe County Library Board Approves Porn

The Washoe County Library Board met on 4/16/2024 and refused the request of CDRs (Common Decent Residents) to move books containing obscenity located in the children's section to the adult section. They read hundreds of books and found 13 that had obscenity and showed the board exactly where the obscenity was but the board ignored their request and voted 4 to 1 to leave the porn books where they were. The only objection was board President Gianna Jacks. Board trustees Rogers, Ruf, Moser and Silver voted to deny their request. The first speaker is Nichelle Hull from wakeupwashoecounty.org.
