Remembering the 1948 Deir Yassin Massacre 76 years on
Failing to acknowledge the Palestinian past is tantamount to denying the ongoing Nakba , the massacres,displacement,and ethnic cleansing at the hands of the Israeli occupation . Thereby undermining the Palestinian's right to self- determination , identity , and collective memory .
In essence , remembering and honoring the past serves as a testament to Palestine's continued existence. And as long as the Palestinian cause exists, so does Palestine.
