A brief video that explains how a veteran can access the Grant Per Diem program (GPD).

One of the best first stops is going to be the Veterans Transitional Housing programs across the country. These are called ‘Grant Per Diem’s’, and are funded by the VA for eligible Vets. Transitional Housing Programs offer a lot more than stable housing; on-site case managers and peer specialists help you to address physical and mental health, substance abuse recovery, and can give you referrals for legal support, financial assistance and much more.
