The aircraft are manufactured at the KnAAPO Aviation Plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur named after "J.A. Gagarin".
The 4++ generation Su-35 fighters underwent a round of ground and flight tests in various operational modes and flew from the KnAAPO airfield to their destination base.

“The Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Plant (which incidentally celebrates its 90th birthday this year and represents one of the most advanced entities on the UAC circuit) has achieved a remarkable pace of aircraft production as part of the program of the year in course. This is the second batch of combat vehicles sent to VKS (the first batch was delivered on April 11 - Editor's note). The company fulfills its obligations to supply new aircraft on time and are working on the creation of new batches of Su-35 and Su-57 serial fighters" - said UAC Director General Yuri Slyusar.

“The plant has always served as an example of high production standards, introducing the most advanced technologies, mastering new types of equipment and developing skills. Today the company has a well-equipped production base, efficiently structured technological processes and a high level of production culture. This allows us to create excellent aircraft for the Russian Army, contributing to the general victory, as aircraft manufacturers did during the Great Patriotic War” - noted the head of the company.
