The Destruction of Dresden is a 1963 non-fiction book that describes the February 1945 bombing of Dresden in World War II. The book is based on a series of 37 articles written on the strategic bombing during World War II by David Irving called Wie Deutschlands Städte starben ( How Germany's Cities Died) for the German journal Neue Illustrierte.
The book became an international bestseller during the 1960s debate about the morality of the World War II area bombing of the (Nazi) German civilian population. First published January 1, 1963 (255 pages, Paperback)

One of my favorite History revisionists is David Irving who also happens to be an evidence-based researcher.

David John Cawdell Irving (born 24 March 1938) is an English author who has written on the military and political history of World War II, and especially Nazi Germany, who was declared to be a (Holocaust denier in a UK court in 2000 as a result of a failed libel case.)
Irving's works include The Destruction of Dresden (1963), Hitler's War (1977), Churchill's War (1987), and Goebbels: Mastermind of the Third Reich (1996). In his works, he argued that Adolf Hitler did not know of the extermination of Jews, or, if he did, he opposed it. Though Irving's negationist claims and views of German war crimes in World War II (and Hitler's responsibility for them) were never taken seriously by mainstream historians, he was once recognized for his knowledge of Nazi Germany and his ability to unearth new historical documents.
'Holocaust Revisionists' do not deny the Jews were persecuted, expelled, put into concentration and labor camps, and suffered and perished in large numbers during World War 2.

Holocaust Revisionists primarily espouse 3 points of contention with the official Holocaust story
1. That there was no German plan or order to exterminate every Jew in the world.
2. That 6,000,000 dead figure is a propaganda figure with no basis in the actual number of Jewish dead during World War 2.
3. There were no homicidal gas chambers disguised as shower rooms.

Revisionists provide convincing evidence that what we are told served as homicidal gas chambers either served as morgues, clothing fumigation rooms or were just shower rooms.
