For months, American universities have been hosting pro-Hamas, pro-Palestine, anti-Israel protests. The protesters’ main goal, at least on the surface, has been to persuade U.S. policymakers to urge Israel to stop its assault on Gaza. But there is more happening on these campuses than students expressing principled objections.
