Does a Texas Star Steel Target Spin Faster When Shooting off Bigger Paddles

I got into a discussion with my cousin about whether a Texas Star would spin faster if you shot off bigger paddles or when you shot off smaller paddles. We weren't as good as of a shot as we needed to be to do a good comparison but you can clearly see that it spins faster when you shoot off the ______ paddles.
