RFK JR. -- Bayh-Dole ACT of 1980 Allow NIH & NIH Scientists to Collect Royalties

The Bayh-Dole Act was made into law in 1980 which allowed NIH as agency and scientists at the NIH to collect Royalties on any new drug that it helped to develop. Yes, even the scientists who helped worked on that drug.

RFK says: “for example, the Moderna vaccine, there are between 4 and 6 individuals who will collect $150,000 a year for life – as long as the mRNA technology is on the market. NIH owns half the patent and they get 50%.”

If this isn’t what you call a conflict of interest I don’t know what is?

So I work for the NIH as a drug regulator and I will get paid $150,000 a year for each drug I help develop, for as long at that drug is on the market?

There is nothing wrong with this?

They are regulating drugs that are literally paying for their families Mortgage and their Children’s College and probably vehicles.

Wouldn’t it be in the best interest of themselves and their own families if they looked the other way on a few drugs that were bringing an extra (150x3), $450 k a year and just let their family know not to take the drugs that are paying for the houses, cars and education?

Instead of monitoring the drug for problems they are inventing ways to brush all the problems under the carpet.

The next time they MANDATE another Vaccine, remember that the very ones looking out for our safety are the very ones raking in the dough for that vaccine.

Drug regulation is a JOKE.
