The narcissist hates your success

I wanted to talk today about narcissists and how they react to the success, accomplishments, and achievements of other people. Narcissists often react with seething rage, envy, resentment, and lashing out. This triggered reaction comes from their insatiable need for a constant influx of external validation. How dare anyone else get the spotlight THEY are ENTITLED to. When you success, it threatens their sense of control and superiority.

Did you get promoted at work? You did that "on purpose" to make them feel bad when they were having a bad day. This is the mindset of the narcissist.
