Straymarket is a vast underground marketplace beneath Anzioch where plundered goods and cargo are brought, stolen monies are laundered, illegal contracts are negotiated, and carnal pleasures are sold. A shadow market inside a sprawling cavern system, Straymarket is an informal and unreported exchange where many of Anzioch’s uglier political complications get worked out.

Exactly how big Straymarket is, or how deep its many levels go, is unknown. The business of Straymarket is business: nothing is forbidden. As such, it is an excellent resource for old maps, forgotten histories, grimoires, exotic currencies, and unending debauchery.

Most importantly, Straymarket is Anzioch’s true intelligence forum. When not masquerading as a wealthy debutante, Orland discovers the value of the vast den of vice, a place where secrets from the queen’s court, the City of Sequins, and regional princes can all be bought—for a price.
