Let It Be was originally released as a single on March 6, 1970.
It was written and sung by Paul McCartney, and credited to the Lennon–McCartney partnership.
At the time, it had the highest debut on the Billboard Hot 100, beginning its chart run at number 6 and eventually reaching the top.
Now, finally, on May 10, 2024, fifty-four plus years later, we have the official music video.

Let It Be (album)
The Beatles’ last album to be released, Let It Be was mostly recorded in early 1969, prior to Abbey Road.

Paul wrote "Let It Be", because of a dream he had in 1968. He said that he had dreamt of his mother, and the "Mother Mary" lyric was about her. He later said, "It was great to visit with her again. I felt very blessed to have that dream. So that got me writing 'Let It Be'."

On October 31, 1956, when McCartney was 14, his mother died of an embolism as a complication of surgery for breast cancer. McCartney's loss later became an important connection with John Lennon, whose mother, Julia, was killed on July 15, 1958, when Lennon was 17. Julia Lennon was knocked down and killed by a Standard Vanguard car, driven by an off-duty constable, PC Eric Clague, who was a learner-driver. Clague was acquitted of all charges and given a short suspension from duty. When Mimi Smith (the older sisiter of Julia) heard the verdict she was so incensed that she shouted "Murderer!" at Clague.

Let It Be (the album version - which is this version), was produced by the originator of the Wall of Sound production method, and the greatest Rock 'n' roll producer ever, Phil Spector.

She was the most beautiful, giving, and loving Mother a boy, teenager, and man, could ever have wished for.
I love you Mom, and I thank you for all you did, especially instilling in me, honesty, integrity, and love.
