Marvel Studios' Avengers 5: Secret Wars – Trailer (HD)

Sam Raimi clears up Marvel Cinematic Universe rumors about him supposedly directing Avengers: Secret Wars. While it has had its ups and downs, The Multiverse Saga is still progressing forward, with several more films and TV shows set to explore the concept of alternative universes. As the MCU timeline is still building towards the end of Phase 5 before getting into Phase 6, there have been little to no updates on Avengers: Secret Wars up to this point.

After directing Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness for Marvel Studios, there have been a number of rumors about Raimi being eyed to direct Avengers: Secret Wars. In a new The Wrap interview, the Spider-Man movie trilogy director took the opportunity to respond to the rumors when asked if Avengers: Secret Wars or any Marvel projects were coming up for him in the future, as Raimi said the following: "I don’t have any plans. But I would love it!"
