Do presidents have immunity?

There’s an old legal saying: bad facts make bad law. In one of the many cases in which Donald Trump is defending himself, his attorney is claiming that Mr. Trump cannot be criminally prosecuted because his actions were part of his official duties and, therefore, fall under Presidential Immunity. Is there such a thing as Presidential Immunity? If so, where do we find it in the Constitution? Those were the questions heard during oral arguments at the Supreme Court.

Rather than following the Constitution and laws of the United States, the courts and all of the attorneys arguing the cases are attempting to design a system to meet their ends. They are legislating from the bench rather than applying the law to the case at hand. Is Trump attempting to turn the Presidency into a Kingship? Are the courts trying to turn the United States into an oligarchy?

Quite a frightful despotism indeed.
