Detroit Animal Care and Control is hosting an Empty the Shelters event

They are needing to get several dogs adopted as soon as possible as they are preparing to move to a new facility. The Detroit General Services Department director says the Bissell Pet Foundation is covering the adoption fees. Adoptable dogs will also be at Meadowbrook Amphitheater in Rochester Hills from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 18.
