Roger Reynolds Wins His Appeal

As I said it would happen, Roger Reynolds has won his appeal, having his criminal conviction for improper use of an interest in a public contract overturned. Not that I told you so, but I told you so, which I seem to say a lot these days. But just like the Fat Alvin case in New York against Trump, justice is not the objective. Punishing political rivals is, by spending them into oblivion, trying to destroy their reputations. They don't care about the actual convictions, but lawfare is about draining people of their resources, in destroying political rivals. And that is all this case in Butler County against Roger Reynolds was. I am proud to have called Roger a friend during all this. And I am still proud to do so. He's always been a good guy and his name should never have been put near the word, "jail." But the people prosecuting, those are the people who should be punished. And this appeal is the start of that kind of much-needed world.
