Waves Roll In

Life experiences roll into our life and crash on the shores of our soul. It could be a good, gentle wave that leaves our soul emotions feeling peace and joy, or it could be a harsh violent wave that leaves our soul feeling crashed into by a sudden overwhelming feeling. An example of that is if an 11 year old in your family, like what happened to a family in Florida, who is suddenly having to deal with their 11 year old who was abducted and raped by an illegal alien, who has been let into this country illegally by an open border, that should be closed to protect our citizens. This is the example of a wave of a life experience suddenly crashing into our soul and leaving a desperate emotional response, and more than we can handle.

Things hit our lives like the waves on a seashore, one after the other. We never know if the wave will bring refreshment to our soul, or tear it up and wreak havoc. There isn’t one wave that comes into our lives where we have to deal with the aftermath by ourselves. No matter what waves are breaking on the shore of our soul, God is in the wave. We experience many good things in this life and many hard trials in this life, the good things, God celebrates with us, the hard things, He delivers us, heals us and grows us through. We are never left alone, never forsaken and never forgotten by our God.

As we walk through this life, wave after wave is experienced by us, and it doesn’t matter what kind of wave it is, because Jesus Christ in us will help us, navigate us, teach us, and help us grow through the experiences of this life. We will always have Jesus, the Living Truth in our lives, the Word of God, which is a huge stabilizer of our soul. No matter what life experiences we will be growing through, good or bad, we are assured to have our God with us.
