Is the Clock Ticking for Marcus Freeman and Notre Dame Football?

Marcus Freeman is entering a huge year for Notre Dame football in this upcoming college football season. After leading the program to 9 and 10 win seasons resepectively in each of his first two years as head coach for the Fighting Irish, he seems to be leading the program in the right direction. However, with the expanded playoffs for this season, one would figure Notre Dame has to make the playoffs at a minimum, for Marcus Freeman's job to be secure in South Bend. How different would his resume looked if he had 11 players on the field for the last play of last year's game vs Ryan Day and Ohio State? Let's discuss.
