Why do people accept mediocrity?

Mediocrity is found in neat packages that are handed to us. We did little to earn it, and thus, it is easy to take it. So easy that anyone can do it.

You can get a welfare check and do nothing to earn it.

You can get a participation trophy for existing on the field.

Mediocrity is the easy way out. It is comfortable. It is cheap. But, it will ultimately enslave your mind.

True success and fulfillment in life are found in discomfort, hardship, and adversity. As Mahatma Gandhi says, “You cannot live a true life without suffering.”

Get out of the abyss of mediocrity and climb the mountain of suffering. It’s better up here!
