Crash Bandicoot - PS1

Crash Bandicoot is a platform video game franchise originally developed by Naughty Dog for the PlayStation console. The series went through several developers and was published on several platforms later. The games are of the platform and runner genre with several spin-offs of the racing and group genre. From the year 2000, it began to be published by Universal Interactive, which later became known as Vivendi Games. In 2007, Vivendi Games was merged with developer Activision, which currently owns the rights to the series and is the main publisher.

The games are set in the Wumpa Islands, a fictional archipelago located southeast of Australia, near Tasmania where humans and mutant animals coexist. The protagonist of the series is a genetically enhanced bandicoot called Crash, who lives a peaceful life on the Wumpa Islands until interrupted by the games' main antagonist, Doctor Neo Cortex, who created Crash and wants to kill him, as he is a failed experiment. In most games, Crash must defeat Cortex and his plans for world domination.
