#438: The Changover 50: Tokyo Grift

Freshly back from Japan and ready to compare and contrast the stark differences in culture and attitude, as the fiat Yen starts on a path toward hyperinflation. With the city essentially on sale, it was the perfect place for a 50th birthday party for the one and only Chang, a friend for the past 30 years.

The Woke agenda was on display, which was surprising to a degree, but it is hard to hide the fact that Tokyo is the wealthiest major city in the world and real business takes priority.

Is Japan heading for a culture change due to its less-than-favorable demographic shifts? The government is already paving the way to import more foreigners, but will they be more selective than the idiots running America? If they want to preserve their reputation as a high-trust society, they better be.
