“That is part of the reason we brought in Bill 18 because we want to be able to be an advocate for all of our municipalities so that they don’t feel they have to be pressured into passing policies that will likely get some of them unelected in the next election and allow for us to be able to be that shield,” said Smith at a Wednesday press conference.
