Night Hunt | Thermals & Hog Calling

Todd looks inside at what a night hunt with us looks like! It was a slow night didn’t get anything but saw a massive group across the plot, ran off a fawn and doe plus had to chase off a big bull that got out!

It was a very eventful night for getting no wild game! We used a Hog Call + ran a Beck Defense rifle, AGM Thermal, and drove around a few plots! Ran up on a big group across the plot but couldn’t call them in close enough we didn’t want to risk the shot or pressure them while out alone! Not much we could do!

But as we worked through the fields looking for some hogs we ran into a doe and fawn that weren’t very scared of us. Stayed close till we nearly got within 20 yards. After seeing them we ran straight into a big bull, all alone in the plot he isn’t allowed to be on. Chased him off and tomorrow will return for him!

Not every night is a successful hunt but we still learn, build experience, and get to rest out methods. It’s a great way to test-run our hunts!
