direct this appeal to all who believe in our state of the Reich.

If you were alone, what would you be in this world if your wage and loans... Is the only thing that you consider to be a community?

You owe this to everyone!

Don't tell me, "all right, but it's still a bother to do all this collecting".

You have never known hunger, otherwise you would know what a bother it is to be hungry!

Sometimes you read in the newspaper, that a woman has committed suicide along with her children. My dear volksgenosse, they are not bad people! Secondly, that is not an easy decision to make!

It must be easy for you to give a couple of coins... When you know that others would have given their lifes for you!

And, I have to say to all those of you who do not appreciate this appeal... Are in my eyes, the ones that are the true poor, poor cadgers... Because they take part of the collective work, in defending of the security of the Reich...but are unwilling to make shared sacrifices.
