Does Biden Recognize First Amendment Religious Protections in the US?

My April 18th questioning State Department Deputy Spokesman Vedant Patel-
The President recently said, and has said many times, "Without Israel, there wouldn't be a Jew in the world that is safe". Isn't that false, and antithetical, to the first amendment? Jews, Muslims, Christians, Atheists, whatever, are safe because of the First Amendment, because of the nature of US society. How can this administration stand behind a remark like that? Particularly about a foreign powerthat stands accused of not only genocide but of being an apartheid regime? Isn't that statement, "Without Israel, there wouldn't be a Jew in the world that is safe", antithetical to the First Amendment and false?"
