The floor cold and pale, needle made of steel
Screams fill the room, alone I drop & kneel
Silence now the sound,
my vent the only motion around
nurses cluttering around,
masked face shows no emotion
Shackled by sedation, remdesivir it churns
death protocols are followed,
kidneys begin to burn

Intubation burns inside
bc of poison pushers pride

A sun that shines on only some

I hear a thunder in the distance,
see a vision of a cross
