Generative AI in Search: Let Google do the searching for you

Last week Google announced plans to integrate generative AI into their popular search engine, via their Gemini AI model.

Gemini will curate an answer based on the prompt given in the search engine and generate some answers based on the "popular" articles out in the ether. “Google will do the Googling for you,” the company says.

Searches have already been limited over the years and more independent news sources are being censored as we are drawing closer to living in a world where EVERYTHING will be owned by literally only just a handful of mega-monopolies.

This is what the entire fake news psyop and the disinformation/misinformation narrative plays into; total thought control. Popular searches of fake conversations won’t bring anyone closer to the truth, and that's exactly what they want.
