Trump's NRA Speech was Really Bad

Donald Trump was recently the Keynote Speaker at the 2024 NRA Annual Metting. To be kind, he did a pretty bad job. The 90 minute address strayed substantially in its subject matter from the task at hand- making up lost ground with gun owners. A vote that he alienated in the last election cycle with his in-office policies. Policies that directly contradicted his promises and directly increase the power of the executive to abuse their power to curtail the rights of the people. Despite his opponent's dismal performance in this area, DT will likely continue to struggle until he admitts the mistakes he made.
