The Pope says it's madness to close our southern border...

The Vatican has used walls in its padt to defend itself... and even though people can freely enter it nwo, they are screened through security and the Pope/Vatican has the highly trained Swiss guard to protect them.

It would be false to say they block people entering with a wall now, but the wall and fortification still stands in portions of the Vatican.
