With all button inputs basically nonexistent, we make our presence known to the crazy lady. A.K.A. "The B**** ". We must defeat her now more than ever, to prove we are more worthy than her to wield the Gilded Shward! However, there's still more clues and puzzles even after her defeat, requiring us to fight her more and even finalize our diary to gift to her. For the first portion of the end to this playthrough, we go around getting all of the known puzzles solved, some completely unknown and others just forgotten. It's all mostly just trinkets and fairies--no real upgrades. However, the fun is finally realizing all the little secrets I can access (or could've accessed) all along. All signs point to there being a massive puzzle that I've no clue how to solve, while I venture around to find more hidden secrets, treasures, and even annoying long-shortcuts. We round up gathering our body pieces in this session, talking to an old friend/enemy that gave us quite a hard time. The house I thought was someone else's turns out to be mine (I think, I'm still not sure), and we obtain a Night and Day level transition. It's a slow grind to obtain my original body back, having to prove myself worthy of my abilities. We're still getting more information through guidebook pages, while also getting jump-scared by someone we forgot a few sessions ago. Roaming in the Ghost World (unofficial title) we take on the fake me's to try to find the treasure hidden within the Cathedral. However, I mostly just find death, death, and more death, along with rage, rage and further RAGE... Much sad. We've come to the root of all that is either good or evil within the base of the Scavengers! We learn of new, stupidly overpowered enemies, while also the creation of the towers and how much I despise repetitive new enemy type encounters. It was an intense struggle, but we finally achieve being a true Boss Killer, taking down the jackal (or whatever canine-man-thing it is) and getting the first of three gems to help the lady int he bubble. Having really seen her as of lately--hopefully she's well fed... Regardless, fake spiders need to stop existing, since they're fake, and that's exactly the gold this session, along with mindlessly roaming and endlessly complaining about not jumping. I feel like I'm missing something major/minor that will once again amazing me and flip everything I know about this game on its head. However, until that event transpires, I have to make due with being stupid as I run around aimlessly. Finally feeling the need to move forward, we take a few steps backwards when finding we're not able to pursue going to either the Eastern Vault OR the mountain area. However, that doesn't mean we don't learn anything new. Apparently... I've been able to interact with the towers all along! A few new guide pages and it becomes clear I've been handling my adventure all wrong, and that I'll need to re-re-re-revisit the places I've been and do things I never thought possible before. Rather than attempting to properly progress, we return to older areas with our new abilities to try and discover more of the land and what we can do with it to gain more abilities. It's mostly just me having the zoomies, but while not tripping over my paws I learn of many things I can do, could've done, and may possibly do in the future. Having did a second channel live stream grind for items and power, we head off through the West Garden area to find out what other monsters exist. There's a lot of water around that makes me think I'll obtain either a swimsuit or the ability to become JEBUS. Sadly, that isn't the case and we're met with a terrible fate... Loud Noises! We head down into the bottom of the well (de-javu) to roman around in the muck for some treasure, and to find the way to the next major area that will help us learn and unlock more about our home world. Hentai Tentacles appear at one point and that's not appropriate for my 3 year old mind to comprehend, so I just faint and run around with the zoomies more. With our new Shward in paw, we are now strong enough to die to the tougher enemies and strike down unnecessary trees/rocks. We need to obtain our pamphlet to stop speedy pain and learn of new areas we can travel, while stea--BORROWING locked items around the main hub. Determined to find a S-ward, we head to the East Forest, where we are met with many murderous bunnies and some dudes that look like rejected Nintendo characters. Elsewhere, there as fake spiders, and some firecrackers to waste before getting to a "boss", who manages to annoy me fore a short moment. Tunic is an Action Adventure game with similarities to that of a well-known Nintendo series (Legend of Zelda). However, many scribbles of text are in a foreign language and it's up to the player to figure out everything--including the text and manual, which is in pieces around the world. Playing as a 3 year old fox pup-kit-cub-thing, I must save the vixen using my popsicle and invincible dodge-rolling.
