Don't take your zero turn mower off road.

Took the zero turn mower to a place I should have known better and got it stuck. Did the walk of shame back to the barn to get the Polaris Scrambler XP 1000 to use it's winch to pull mower out. Unfortunately the winch line would not go out when I pressed the button. I could hear the solenoid click no joy from the winch itself. Fortunately I have a tow rope in the box on the ATV. Used that to pull the mower out of the hole then put the mower away. Ralph told me how to free spool the winch line out and I pulled 20 feet out to see how it worked. The motor on the winch refused to pull the line back in so now I have 20 feet of line coiled up atop the battery cover.
