Ride with the Secret Squirrel #2

Fresh from the first Secret Squirrel ride, we embark on another great ride and Secret Squirrel road less travelled. Again, we divert from the B6342 well before Rothbury, and ride up to Simonside forest and hills, right over the top, to again descend to the south side of the river Coquet.

We even eventually join up at a junction with the first Secret Squirrel route. Descending and following the winding track, I notice a fine viewpoint with a bench to park my arse at, too. The weather was one of the best days this year, and the views well worth the adventure.
