Topic: YOU NEED THE HOLY SPIRIT TO FUNCTION.
Scriptures from New King James version: We take on Acts 1:8, But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Acts 2:1-4, Coming of the Holy Spirit: When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Amen!
John 14:26, But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

MEDITATION and SUMMARY ON TODAY’S SCRIPTURAL PASSAGES:
Child of God, I am greatly in lack of appropriate words or expression with which to express adequately the activities of the Holy Spirit and why you must need Him in order to excel in whatever you are doing. Obviously, it is entirely inadequate or put in another way understatement to say that the Holy Spirit is all-rounder. This is because, it is obvious, hence has no alternative that you need Him in your life in order to effectuate your Divine mandate. The Holy Spirit is God, the third personality in the Blessed Trinity. He is a teacher. He teaches, reminds, leads, inspires, protects, motivates, transforms and communicates to the children of God by infusion the boldness and everything that is needed to serve God well and accomplish their Divine assignment and destiny. The Holy Spirit is a purifier, Counsellor, motivator and Sanctifier. Child of God, it is safe to state that in whatever you are doing you need the Holy Spirit to excel. You need the Holy Spirit to be alive; live a life of purity, sanctity, holiness and righteousness. The scripture says in Matthew 5:48 that you must be holy as your heavenly father is holy. Hear me, it is obviously impossible to live a holy life without the Holy Spirit. Thirst for Him; hunger for Him and invite Him into your life. Ask the Heavenly father to give you. You need Him. The Lord told his disciples in Acts 1:8, But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you." Also in John 14:26, the Lord told his disciples that when the Holy Spirit comes, He will teach them all things and remind them of everything He had thought them. Conclusively in Zachariah 4:6-7 the Angel delivered a message to Zachariah for Zerubbabel You will succeed, not by military might or by your own strength, but by my spirit. Obstacles as great as mountains will disappear before you. Before the end of this program, the Lord will grant you His Holy Spirit for transformation and breakthrough in the name of Jesus. Amen and Amen!

1. Lord, grant me your Holy Spirit that will enable me love and serve you better. Lord, Amen!

2. Oh Lord, deliver me from inordinate circumstances and occasions making me to sin by the power of your Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus. Amen!

3. My father, grant me your Holy Spirit to lead, guide and direct me in all my affairs in the name of Jesus. Amen!
