“There is no spoon”

Here’s a fun and educational exercise for everyone. First, note there is a lot of NOISE in this video. Blinking lights, unbroken reflections coming off rippling but flat water, moving ships, and other vehicles dazzle and distract. Then, add boldly highlighting arrows and text from the video editor. Discrimination can be quite challenging at times, though also very rewarding.

Pick a dark spot of air in the middle of the bridge with no lights and set your eyes to aim at that spot, but focus on nothing, aka everything, aka, “there is no spoon”.

Watch the video a couple times, and using only peripheral awareness, realize you have lights from vehicle traffic going intermittently fast in both directions. Then realize the collapse happened when there were no vehicles on the bridge. Also realize the only time there are no such vehicle lights on the bridge is during the money shot. Then, ponder if that qualifies as an anomaly.
