XDEFIANT 🔥 The New FREE Fortnite/COD Like FPS 🔥 First Hour of Gameplay (4K60)

First hour in the new FPS game XDEFIANT from Ubisoft. It's sorta like a cross between Fortnite, Call of Duty, and Battlefield.

XDEFIANT is free to play with in-game purchases, like a Battle Pass, skins, etc... but you do not need to spend any money to play.

It's not just about getting the most eliminations, many of the modes are about capturing and holding a location, or escorting a payload.

The maps are small! Hopefully this will change in the future, because 99.9% of combat is close quarters which makes most of the weapons useless. Just use the SMG or Assault Rifle for now.

Game play is FAST! Not as fast as COD, but much faster than Fortnite.

It will be frustrating at the beginning since you will be matched against players at much higher levels than you. Keep playing, you'll get better.

Ubisoft says match-making is "input based", so it doesn't consider skill during matchmaking. I also think that PC players are tricking the system by connecting a controller to their PC and then playing with mouse and keyboard. If you look at how some people move...it's just not possible with a controller.

Overall, it's a fun game that's worth checking out. Great for when you want to play Fortnite, but you are bored with the map and want something different.

The game was released on May 21, so it's still rough around the edges and there are bugs. This game has lots of potential, so let's hope Ubisoft doesn't screw it up or turn it into micro-transaction awfulness.
