Man shoots three bystanders including an 8-year-old girl in the head

after getting hit by a car while riding a scooter

Philadelphia police are searching for the scooter rider who shot three people after a crash.

“The operator of that scooter gets up, produces a handgun and starts firing indiscriminately”

The 8-year-old girl was shot in the head while in a car with her father. She will have to have surgery.

A 45-year-old male was shot in the leg, and a 47-year-old Middle School teacher inside another vehicle was shot twice in the face.

All three victims are reported to be in stable condition.
