Oregon Trail Again?! - 1990's part 1

Back at it again with ye 'ol Oregon Trail, this time we're exploring the second generation of this game! This Oregon Trail was reprogramed from the ground up! Different from the 1980's version it now introduced more color and many of the iconic features that people now associate with the game – such as crossing rivers, stopping at landmarks, naming your party members, contracting diseases, carrying meat back to the wagon, choosing a profession, carrying spare parts, seeing daily weather updates, talking to people along the way, having members of your party die, erecting tombstones, earning points based on your performance, and adding more chart toping hits from the 1700's! Such as Yankee Doodle Dandy!

Fun Fact! This was the first version to be driven by a complex set of interlocking mathematical simulation models – the models for weather, health, and river conditions.
